The Coronavirus has become a pandemic health problem, and there has been talking that Coronavirus could end globalization. However, I doubt that will ever happen. The concept and power of globalization have touched many industries including health and business. I will start with some examples for health.

Have you ever wondered why Korean girls always have clear, glowing skin?

1. South Korean products and skin health

Skincare products are purchased the foremost in the global beauty industry. Korean beauty is now considered to be the leader in the global skincare industry. Korean beauty or K-beauty has such enormous influence that companies around the world are looking to K-beauty startups to assist them to stay top of the latest beauty market trends. The Korean beauty industry is expected to earn $600 billion by 2024 (Sue, 2020). This may make it one-quarter of the world's total beauty market. South Korean skin products are popular because they focus on health and wellness by using natural ingredients. Korean influencers on social media have helped to make these skincare products more popular (Sue, 2020). As many consumers turn to K-beauty products, it will help to monitor how these products affect the condition of their skin.

2. Health technology from Ireland

Ireland has one among the biggest medical technology industries in Europe, and several Irish health companies are being introduced to a world audience. For example, HealthBeacon is an Irish company aiming for global expansion. They assist patients to adhere to their medication such as injectable treatments, with a schedule and customizable reminders. Another Irish company aiming for global expansion is NeoSurgical. They create innovative products to make laparoscopic surgery safer and easier. Lately, they have been targeting European and US markets ("Medtech made", 2017).

Now, here are examples for marketing and customer service.

3. Music for our needs from Sweden

The world was introduced to Spotify by a Swedish company. Spotify provides music based on genres but also other categories such as for our habits and different times of the day (Fleishman, 2019). This business model has helped international artists to get more exposure because of a variety of categories. This has been great for Spotify's marketing strategy, and it now has offices in 17 countries.

4. Customer support from the United States

Telerx is a company that has been successful in outsourcing customer support for 500 companies in 100 countries. Telerx has been providing self-service for patrons, that now like a quick answer and being able to contact brands in altogether ways available (Heather, para.7).

Watch the customer service video below, and tell me in the comments what country you would like me to discuss in my next blog post about globalization.
